Our mission at *Genesis Bernese Mountain Dogs* is to enhance the Bernese breed by emphasizing strong and proven bloodlines with generations of longevity, health, beauty and the stockier structures.
We have incorporated European lines i.e. Swiss, Dutch, Belgium, and Hungarian, that have the original heavier structures, the robust, broad & blocky heads, shorter and deeper muzzles along with magnificent heavier coats which is typical of the European Bernese Mountain Dogs.
Simply put, the Bernese desire to please their family and ingratiate themselves into their human pack with their unique character and the love they happily bestow upon their owner(s). They are alert, highly intelligent, intuitive to their family, loyal, learn obedience well and wonderful with children and other pets of all sizes.
We practice only selective breeding to compliment the bloodlines and enhance the breed.
Our Bernese family is PRECIOUS to us and we are blessed to have the opportunity to have become their Guardians.
